The Spade and Trowel Club believes in the importance of education.  Starting in 2022, the club and members of the club has been annually awarding a $1000 or more scholarship through the Kennett Education Foundation to a Kennett High School graduating senior interested in Horticulture and/or Environmental Studies.  Qualified candidates are screened and chosen through the guidance counselors at the school.
